Hola~

This morning both girls woke up about the same time. Lexi is always
sooo happy in the morning! It is so fun to see her jump up and down in
her bed waiting for me to pick her up! So Khali and Jason and I all
slept with mosquito nets last night. Khali loved her princess net and
hadn't moved an inch this morning! She called me in so I could help
her out so she wouldn't rip it. Jason was getting fed up with ours! We
couldn't hang ours from the ceiling because he didn't have a masonry
drill bit. Our walls and ceilings are all cement. Khali's worked in
her room because there is a small board running around the room close
to the ceiling so Jason nailed into that. Anyway, I stayed under the
net and Jason got out. Big mistake! We both could hear all the
mosquitos whirring all over the place! He could only take so much
before he got back under! Khali's and my arms and face are slowly
healing, but our red spots are as bright as ever! Thankfully Lexi is
spot free!

Khali got her barbies out today and had a great time playing by
herself After awhile I went in to check on her and she was
accessorizing! It was so cute! We made the play dough today and Khali
loved it! We, of course, made it pink! She is a pro at making snakes,
snowmen, and stacks of pancakes. She is growing up so fast it's
incredible and exciting and a little sad!

While running today we hit a lot of dirt roads. The dirt roads were
actually a lot nicer to run on than the paved roads! Potholes are
everywhere on the pavement. They just don't do a lot of upkeep here.

We drove to Montevideo today to get our blood drawn and to get tetanus
shots for our Uruguayan residency stuff. You have to get residency in
this country if you are going to be here longer than 3 months. It's a
good thing this is happening now because I've been here over 2 months
now! I have no idea why they need health stuff for residency but they
do! We have to go back tomorrow to stand before the judge. Then we
have to go again on Saturday to catch our flight to Peru! Looks like
McDonald's for the next few days! I haven't eaten this much of McD's
food in my entire life! But, it is the only decent hamburger around,
well, at least that I have tasted.

Khali's favorite song right now is Metallica's and the Trans-Siberian
Orchestra's version of Carol of the Bells. It is pretty sweet. It's
one of my favorites too. She beats her arms to the hard beat! It's
awesome!

RIght now we are sitting on the bed trying to figure out how to do our
mosquito net! We both don't want to attempt it! But we can't seem to
figure out how all these dang mosquitos are getting in! Ahh! I don't
want to look like I have chicken pox for the rest of my life!
